RHYTHMS OF GRACE: Generosity

This Sunday, we continue our Rhythms of Grace series by exploring the practice of Generosity.

Generosity is about far more than money. It is a way of living with open hands—recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and asking how our time, resources, gifts, and lives can be used to bless others. As we learn to trust God’s provision, generosity has the power to deepen community, meet real needs, and participate in God’s mission in the world.

Pastor Jake Stooke will be speaking this Sunday, helping us consider what it means to become a generous people. Come ready to worship, listen, and hear what God has placed on Jake’s heart for our church on this important rhythm of grace.

LOOKING TOWARD FALL

This fall we’ll begin a new Sunday journey through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.

MADE FOR MORE

A Journey Through Ephesians

We were made for more—
and we were made for each other.

We’ll discover what it means to be a people shaped by grace, rooted in Christ, joined together as one body, and sent into the world to live differently.

Our hope is greater than simply learning these things on Sunday mornings.

We want to live them together.

Gathering around tables.
Investing in our children and students.
Carrying one another’s burdens.
Serving our neighborhood.
Opening ourselves to where God may send us.
Becoming the people Jesus is forming us to be.

FORMED TOGETHER. SENT TOGETHER.

One Church • Many Homes • For You.

JUNE 2026 GIVING REPORT

Financial Summary — June 2026

We are grateful for God’s continued provision and the faithful generosity of our church family.

Income (June 2026)
Total Income: $14,198.03

Expenses (June 2026)
Total Expenses: $16,320.30

Net for June 2026
Expenses over Income: $(2,122.27)

This month reflects higher expenses than income. We remain committed to wise stewardship and trust God’s continued provision as we move forward together.

What This Means for Us

June was a full and meaningful month of ministry at Neighborhood Friends Church, with income totaling just over $14,000. At the same time, our expenses exceeded income, resulting in a shortfall of $2,122.

This isn’t cause for alarm—it’s an invitation.

As we move into the summer months, we know that rhythms of attendance and giving can shift, but the ministry of our church continues. God is still at work in our gatherings, our relationships, our kids and students, and in the ways we serve our neighborhood and one another.

This is a moment to stay engaged, to give faithfully, and to continue building what God is doing among us.

Like any healthy church family, we pay attention to where we are and move forward together—with wisdom, trust, and shared responsibility—believing that God will provide as we walk forward in faith.

How You Can Pray

Pray for continued faithfulness and unity as we walk forward together.

Pray for wisdom for our leadership as we steward resources well.

Pray that God would continue to provide and guide our church in this season.

Pray that everything we do would remain centered on Jesus and His mission.

How You Can Participate

Give faithfully – Your generosity fuels ministry, supports leadership, and keeps our church moving forward.

Take a next step – Whether through serving, giving, or simply staying engaged, your presence matters.

Stay encouraged – God has been faithful to NFC, and we trust He will continue to lead us forward.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19

NKIDS Ministry

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each Sunday, your child will learn similar concepts to what is being taught in our adult teaching. Our goal is to bring the message of  Jesus to our kids at a level they can grasp and grow in. The lessons are fun and are taught by committed volunteers who serve Jesus by serving you and your children. We believe your children will love their time in NKids Church each Sunday and will beg you to bring them back!

LEARNING AT THEIR LEVEL

We believe that the gospel is for all ages, and that’s why we are so passionate about teaching kids how the story of Jesus is woven throughout the Bible and helping them understand at their level! In NKids, our Sunday experiences are filled with gospel-centered lessons, engaging times of worship, and fun activities that help them relate and apply the story in their lives.

FAMILY CONNECTION

The primary pastors of your kids’ faith aren’t the NKids volunteers—it’s you! Our goal in NKids is to resource and support families so that the rest of your week can be filled with conversations centered on Jesus and you can feel equipped to disciple your family to be deeply rooted in their faith and excited about Jesus!

BAPTISM & CHILD DEDICATION

Everyone at Neighborhood Friends has a next step in their spiritual journey, and for our NKids, here are two that God could be calling them to:

  • Baptism:

If your child has made a decision to follow Christ, begin a conversation about baptism with one of our NKids team members.

  • Child Dedication:

If you are interested in having your child dedicated, keep an eye out for our next Child Dedication service! In the meantime, fill out the sign up form below to get on the list for our next dedication gathering.
