In Exodus 1:22-2:10, we witness the unfolding of God’s providence in the midst of adversity. Despite Pharaoh’s cruel decree to kill Hebrew male babies, God works through the courage and resourcefulness of Moses’ family to preserve his life. Through the faithfulness of Moses’ mother, his sister, and even Pharaoh’s daughter, we see how God orchestrates events to protect and raise up a leader for His people.
As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded that God is always at work, even in the most challenging circumstances. Just as He provided for Moses in his time of need, He continues to provide for us today. In the face of adversity, let us trust in God’s faithfulness and look for His guiding hand in our lives. Like Moses’ family, may we remain steadfast in our faith and obedient to God’s leading, knowing that He is always working for our good.
As we gather in worship today, let us be encouraged by the story of Moses’ miraculous preservation and be inspired to trust in God’s providence in every situation. Join us as we give praise for God’s faithfulness and commit ourselves to following Him wholeheartedly, knowing that He is always with us, guiding and protecting us every step of the way.
