Hey Neighborhood!
Happy 4th of July weekend! I pray this finds you well. On a weekend in which we will gather around a grill, eat good American fare and celebrate our freedoms as a country, let’s not forget our freedom we have in Christ. I read this passage this morning in my devotions:
You, my brothers and sisters, were call to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve on another humbly in love.
—Galatians 5:13
It seems that our world is constantly in turmoil and our good old American freedoms are being tested. I want to remind you, that our flag still waves, tattered as she may be, we still have freedom to worship Jesus this morning. That is worth celebrating!
Today, I am excited to bring a message from James 5 that has been on my heart since last Saturday. It’s been marinating in my soul for a week and I am ready to share some powerful truths on patience and perseverance. It’s a timely message for us as a church, as a nation, and as people of great faith in Jesus. I pray you will join us in-person or online this morning. Worship will be powerful as usual, and God will be glorified. Don’t miss out! We never know how or when the Holy Spirit will overwhelm us and surprise us—so let’s just believe it’s going to be today!
See you at 10:30am.
