“The Problem With Pride”
James 4:1-10
Pride is the open door to all the places in life none of us want to end up. Even so, it’s pride that we rarely think is something we struggle with spiritually. We often brush it off as confidence because we don’t realize the problem it really presents.
The antithesis of pride is humility. Humility is the byproduct of the real cure for pride, and that’s Jesus. Apart from the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we stand no chance at defeating pride.
