Hey Neighborhood!
Tomorrow will be our last week in the Rhythms of Grace: Sabbath Series. God has gven me a plan for tomorrow that I think will be incredibly special and powerful. We will be implementing music and open worship tomorrow and ending with communion. The message portion will be short and at the very beginning of the gathering. This is the Sunday to not be late!
Our NKIds will be dismissed right after my opening short talk on Sabbath as worship.
RHYTHMS OF GRACE SERIES
I am amazed at how a simple intentional focus on stopping, resting, delighting, and now worshipping for Sabbath has caused me to feel more content and peaceful; less rushed and full of anticipation of what God is doing in us as we pause from the busyness of life.
As we navigate the challenges and joys of life, I am reminded of the profound joy that comes from delighting in God. In times of uncertainty, His love remains unwavering, and His presence brings unparalleled peace and fulfillment.
I wanted to take a moment to encourage each one of us to intentionally seek and delight in God’s presence with us tomorrow as we gather for week 3 of this series on Sabbath. The Scriptures remind us that “in His presence is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11), and as a community of believers, we are called to experience and share this joy with one another.
“WORSHIP”
That’s the message or tomorrow as we talk about SABBATH – Shabbat = to STOP, REST, DELIGHT, and WORSHIP. I want to personally challenge you to continue this momentum as we start 2024 with a God built a rhythm of WORSHIP. When we live in alignment with this ancient rhythm that Jesus practiced, we condition our souls to find peace and joy, but when we fight it, we fracture our souls.
