Have you ever asked God for a sign?
Today, many in our world are looking for anything to bring them some sense of hope, but the signs seem distant at best.
The book of Isaiah prophesied that God sent Jesus as a sign to humanity through a virgin birth. God made a promise to become one of us through Jesus; God with us. It was a miraculous point in history that still ripples through our lives over 2,000 years later.
When we ask God for a sign, we are looking for confirmation to do what we consider comfortable and convenient. But when God speaks to us, he always challenges us to pursue extraordinary lives that cannot be explained without God’s involvement.
Jesus’ life is a reminder that God already sent the biggest sign of His love for us. Now, we have the opportunity to be a sign of love to the world around us.
