WEEK 41
“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s”

Jesus is well known for the things he said in His week of ministry on earth, but this statement may be one of the most intriguing. In just a few sentences, Jesus is able to flip the coin that is often known as “The Two Kingdoms”—God’s and Caesar’s. The world has popularized this story and made all kinds of attempts to separate the two and live according to the rules that each seemingly demand. But . . . Jesus shows us in four sentences why He is the only King; the King who never had a coin. He never had a coin that needed to be flipped.
