Sometimes when we hear what we don’t want to hear, it’s often because we don’t want to see what we know we might see. In Mark 9:30-50, Jesus foretells his death for a second time to his disciples because they didn’t want to see what Jesus was telling them would happen. This led to an argument about who is the “greatest” among them.
